WHY THE MONARCH?Ā
āHappiness is as a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.ā
Monarchs represent connection, beauty and transformation.Ā The poem above, along with many other Monarch references, were in my Grandmotherās house and something I always loved. I was close with my Grandma, loved our tea filled afternoons, her Scottish accent, and the way her and my Granda would break into dance together with Louis Armstrong or Frank Sinatra playing in the background.
When I was 21 years old I lost my Grandma to cancer. And one year later, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. To say I was scared was an understatement. But when I learned, while waiting for radiation treatment that the symbol for thyroid cancer was a butterfly, I knew everything was going to be okay.
When I started this business, the only thing holding me back from launching it out in the world was the name. I asked my husband in desperation to āhelp me pick a nameā and at that exact moment, he said ā pointing outside the window ā āLookā¦.a MONARCH,ā and I immediately knew and felt the significance.

The Monarch represents transformation and how we help entrepreneurs. They are welcomed into the cocoon so they can build and grow, and spread their wings to do what they were meant to do in this world.
